  • What’s the Difference Between Semaglutide and Tirzepatide?

    Semaglutide (brand names: Ozempic®, Wegovy®) is a GLP-1 receptor agonist that mimics the hormone that helps regulate appetite and blood sugar.

    Tirzepatide (brand name: Mounjaro® or Zepbound®) is a dual-acting medication that targets both GLP-1 and GIP (glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide) receptors. The addition of GIP provides enhanced metabolic support and may lead to faster and greater weight loss in some patients.
